We give you thanks, Lord God, 
because by your Son's death 
you destroyed our death. 

Through your grace, may we remember 
that you are with us in whatever sufferings 
we face in our life. 

Full of trust, may we live with the certain hope 
of being with you one day in glory.

Through your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, 
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, 
one God forever and ever.
