From The Prince Of Peace Abbey - Monksday Posted by Picasa

A Beautiful CD that I got from "Monastery Greetings".

From Site:
Two Benedictine monks, one Polish, the other American, created this suite of 20 improvisations for recorder and Celtic harp to convey the beauty of the Liturgy of the Hours, from Vigils to Compline. The rhythm of the harp represents the steadiness of Gregorian chant, while the spontaneity of the flute symbolizes the soul in prayer. A gentle, inspiring accompaniment to prayer and meditation.

They have the "Trappist Preserves" too that are exceptionally good!

08.10.13:  I went to the Monastery Greetings site today, and they don't appear to have this particular cd listed at the moment.

It is available on Amazon but in the Marketplace.  I'll keep looking.
